Hyundai has officially launched the Exter SUV in India today, days after teasing the micro-SUV on its social media handles and giving a sneak peek into its appearance, features, and mechanical details. The car has made its way into the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). There is no doubt that the Exter has been stirring up a lot of enthusiasm among prospective buyers since its debut. This new product, the manufacturer's most reasonably priced model, gives its lineup of SUVs—including models like the Venue, the Creta, the Alcazar, and the Tucson—more edge. The Exter is a compact vehicle, but despite its small size, it exudes flair and boasts an extensive list of features. Notably, it will share a 1.2-litre petrol engine as its powertrain with the recently released Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, which is built on the same platform. The engine will be offered in either a petrol-only or a CNG version. Read on to know more about what this newly launched SUV brings to the table.
