Hyundai has revealed that the Exter SUV has garnered over 50,000 bookings in India. Interestingly, the bookings figure reached from 10,000 to 50,000 in less than a month since its launch in our market. The South Korean automaker has also stated that the automatic variants of the model account for more than one-third of orders. The price for the brand-new Exter starts at Rs 6 lakh and goes up to Rs 10 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. The popular Punch SUV from Tata Motors directly rivals the Hyundai Exter in the Indian market. EX, EX(O), S, S(O), SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect are the seven distinct variants available for buyers to choose from. The Exter comes with a 3-year (unlimited kilometre) warranty as well as the option of a 7-year extended warranty. This SUV has redefined benchmarks in the country and offers customers superior safety with 6 Airbags as standard and ESC, VSM, and HAC available across all trims as an option. What is also interesting to witness is that the trims with sunroof constitute more than 75% of total bookings signaling a big thumbs up from the customers for the segment-raising benchmark features introduced in the EXTER. HMIL would like to sincerely thank our customers for their trust and love for Hyundai EXTER and we are confident that the Hyundai SUV Life will continue to elevate their aspirations.”
