Hyundai launches limited edition Sports Edition variants of the 800cc Eon in Era Plus and Magna Plus versions.
Hyundai India has launched a limited edition version of its Eon entry-level hatchback dubbed as the Sports Edition. This new Eon Sports Edition is available in the Era Plus and Magna Plus versions of the Hyundai Eon and comes with added features such as a 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring mirror link connectivity for your smartphone. This means you can run much needed essential features such as google maps navigation with live traffic updates on your infotainment system. Other added features on the Eon Sports Edition include cosmetic enhancements such as plastic side moulding on the doors and roof rails.
The Hyundai Eon Sports Edition is not available in the top-end Sportz variant of the car and neither on the more powerful 1.0 litre engined models of the car as it is exclusive to the 800cc model. This means the Sports Edition versions of the Eon miss out on a few features on the Sportz variant, such as keyless entry, front fog lamps, body coloured door handles and ORVM casings, tilt adjustable steering wheel and metallic finish on the interior door handles.
The Hyundai Eon Era Plus Sports Edition retails at Rs. 3.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) while the Eon Magna Plus Sports Edition is priced at Rs. 4.14 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Hyundai Eon is currently the 17th highest selling car in India with 5,747 units sold during the month of March 2017.
