Following the arrival of the 2024 Creta in the Indian market, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is preparing for another major launch of the year. The South Korean car manufacturer is all set to roll out the Creta in India, but this time, in the more premium N Line SUV guise. Amidst all this, the firm has officially teased the Creta N Line for the first time before its launch on March 11. The brand shared teaser photos and videos across various social media platforms that gave away a few details about the upcoming model. After the i20 N Line and the Venue N Line, this will be the automaker's third N Line model in the country and probably the most expensive one. It will receive some mechanical adjustments, additional features, and aesthetic improvements. So, without any further ado, let's delve deeper into what this new offering might have in store for prospective buyers.
Hyundai Creta N Line Teaser
In a brief video posted to social media, Hyundai Motor gave a sneak peek of the Creta N Line accelerating. Even though the SUV isn't entirely visible, the teaser verifies a few of the N-Line characteristics the Creta SUV will have. For example, it's easy to spot the SUV's exterior colour and the red accent that's distinctive to Hyundai N Line vehicles.
Hyundai Creta N Line: Appearance
The Creta N Line's exterior will probably look a lot like the facelifted Creta SUV that came out earlier this year. It will be decked up in new paint jobs, such as matte grey and a racey blue tone with red exterior highlights or accents. Moving ahead, a fresh, sleeker grille design with an updated pattern inside will be added to the front fascia. Moreover, for a sportier appearance, a new, sharper bumper and red accents on the chin will be present. In addition, the car's skirts will include red highlights on the side profile, and revamped black-painted 18-inch alloy wheels with a unique design will be added. The huge roof-mounted spoiler along with a redesigned, sporty-looking bumper will be included with the rear profile. Besides, expect the N Line badging and twin exhaust to be the other two major differentiators.
Hyundai Creta N Line: Interior and Feature Set
The soon-to-be-launched Creta N Line's interior will probably have an all-black theme with N Line-specific elements including leather upholstery, a gear select lever, metal pads, a three-spoke steering wheel, and discreet red accents on the dashboard. Expect the vehicle to include the same 10.25-inch screens as the Creta facelift, which comprise a digital driver display and an infotainment unit with built-in navigation. Additional features include a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
For a more dynamic driving experience, Hyundai is anticipated to adjust the exhaust sound, steering feel, and suspensions. The N Line Creta variations should also include a few extra features.
Hyundai Creta N Line: Powertrain Options
With 158bhp of maximum power and 253Nm of peak torque, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine will propell the new Hyundai Creta N Line. Furthermore, it will come equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox in addition to the DCT unit, which is the only gearbox available for the aforementioned engine. Speaking of the variants, there will be two versions of the 2024 Creta N Line for our market: N8 and N10.
Hyundai Creta N Line: Expected Price
In the domestic market, the upcoming N Line variant of the Creta will be available for purchase alongside the standard Hyundai Creta, which ranges in price from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom figures. In related news, the recently redesigned Creta reached a new sales milestone in India this month by surpassing the 10 lakh unit mark.
