Hyundai Creta EV: Interior Elements

The latest spy images of the Hyundai Creta EV interior reveal key elements such as the dashboard, steering wheel, centre console, grey and black dual-tone theme, and a glimpse of the seats. Notably, the EV variant features a distinct three-spoke steering wheel, different from the internal combustion engine (ICE) version, and includes paddle shifters, likely for controlling regenerative braking. The gear selector stalk is likely positioned behind the steering wheel on the right side. Unlike the regular Creta, the EV variant lacks a flat-bottom steering wheel and Hyundai's logo, opting instead for four dots on the horn pad, a signature design in Hyundai’s electric lineup.

The cabin’s overall layout is similar to the ICE version, featuring a 10.25-inch curved infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital display, and a floating centre console. Additionally, the gear lever has been replaced with storage space, and leatherette upholstery displays the "Creta Electric" badging. The images also indicate the presence of an auto-dimming IRVM. The centre console houses controls for seat ventilation, auto hold, the electric parking brake, and multiple driving modes.

The Creta EV will feature Level 2 ADAS, advanced connectivity technology, and a Home-to-Car Alexa function, enabling the owner to turn on the SUV’s AC remotely from home. Other bits include multiple USB charging ports, a powered driver seat, dual-zone climate control, a voice-activated panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree surround camera, and a high-end Bose sound system.

Hyundai Creta EV: Powertrain

While the official technical specifications of the Hyundai Creta EV have not yet been disclosed, it is expected to be powered by a 45kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor. This motor is anticipated to produce 136bhp of peak power and 255Nm of maximum torque. Additionally, the Creta EV is likely to support fast-charging technology.
