Hyundai has revealed more exciting details about the much-anticipated Creta Electric, which is slated to launch on January 17, 2025. The e-SUV boasts a roomy 22-litre frunk and a 433-litre boot, offering ample of space for storage. With a 2610mm wheelbase, the SUV provides expansive cabin space and enhanced comfort for its occupants. The Creta EV features a dual-tone interior with a Granite Gray and Dark Navy colour scheme, complemented by ocean blue ambient lighting around the console, adding a sleek, modern vibe that matches the SUV's bold exterior. There is an updated center console, a new 3-spoke steering wheel, and a range of convenience features. Notably, the new in-car payment functionality, allows drivers to pay for charging directly via the infotainment system. Other highlights include updated air conditioning vents, a new three-spoke steering wheel, a foldable tray table, an EV-specific one-pedal driving mode, and a gear selector conveniently integrated into the steering column for a more streamlined driving experience.

The Hyundai Creta Electric offers two battery options: a 42kWh pack and a more powerful 51.4kWh variant. The smaller battery produces 133bhp, while the bigger battery increases power output to 169bhp. To enhance performance in colder environments, the Creta Electric is equipped with a battery heating system, ensuring optimal charging efficiency and maintaining range. The bigger 51.4kWh battery has a driving range of 473 kilometres, whereas the 42kWh variant offers a range of 390 kilometres. The e-SUV supports an 11kW AC charger, capable of fully charging the 51.4kWh battery in only four hours. Additionally, it offers DC fast charging, which can recharge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes, ensuring quick top-ups on the go.
Hyundai Creta Electric: Safety Suite
In terms of safety, the Creta EV is packed with a robust Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite. This includes essential features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring.
