Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG E Variant Launched in India at Rs 7.49 Lakh, Gets Twin-Cylinder Setup
Hyundai has launched the Aura CNG model with a double-cylinder setup. The Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG E, as referred to by the company, makes 68bhp at 6,000rpm and 95.2Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm.
Hyundai has now launched the Aura CNG model with a double-cylinder setup. The new Aura CNG is currently available in a single E variant for an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.49 lakh. Touted as the Aura Hy-CNG E, the new model is Hyundai's direct response to the growing demand for more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles in India. The Aura E with a factory-fitted CNG kit comes with a 'leak-proof' design, a CNG switch, and a nozzle assisting in CNG refuelling.
The Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG E uses a 1.2-litre Bi-Fuel (Petrol with CNG) engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, making it the third vehicle to feature this powertrain. The setup delivers 68bhp at 6,000rpm and 95.2Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. According to Hyundai, the model returns a fuel economy of 28.4km/kg.

Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG E: Features
Features-wise, the Aura Hy-CNG E offers a 3.5-inch speedometer, front power windows, a height-adjustable driver's seat, and adjustable headrests for rear occupants. It also gets Z-shaped LED taillamps. For safety, the vehicle is equipped with six airbags, 3-point seat belts (all seats), and seatbelt reminders (all seats), among others.
The Hyundai Aura currently ranges from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.05 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered in four broad trims: E, S, SX, and SX (O).

In other news, Hyundai is set to launch its facelifted Alcazar on September 9 in India. The model will be available in four variants and nine exterior colours. Bookings of the new Alcazar are underway for a token amount of Rs 25,000.
