Hyundai has offered us an early glimpse of the updated Alcazar's exterior before its launch on September 9, 2024. After the makeover, the SUV looks more aggressive, with a reworked front fascia, featuring a new grille, H-shaped LED DRLs, and an LED light bar. It also has an updated profile and rear end. While the engine options remain the same, the 6 and 7-seat SUV is expected to be more feature-rich, with a range of new amenities, similar to the new Creta. The bookings for the new Hyundai Alcazar are now underway for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Its deliveries are slated to start in mid to late September.

Now that we finally know how the new Alcazar looks, let's compare its exterior with the pre-facelift model to see what has changed.
New Hyundai Alcazar vs Old: Front
The new Alcazar model is bolder than the outgoing model, which has a more traditional appearance. It comes with a revised bumper with a noticeable skid plate, a flat, new grille with horizontal slats, and a front bumper-positioned radar sensor indicating the inclusion of ADAS features. The updated Alcazar includes H-shaped LED DRLs connected by an LED strip and Quad Beam LED headlamps. In comparison, the previous generation had dual-barrel projector headlights and split LED DRLs.
New Hyundai Alcazar vs Old: Side
From the side, the SUV is almost similar to its predecessor except for the new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Additionally, the roof rails now feature a new dual-tone design.
New Hyundai Alcazar vs Old: Rear
The all-new Hyundai SUV now features connected LED taillights with 'Alcazar' written underneath and an updated bumper with a silver skid plate. In contrast, the outgoing model had taillights linked by a chrome strip bearing the 'Alcazar' logo. In addition, the revised Alcazar has a restyled roof spoiler and a bit longer high-mounted brake lights. However, the dual-tip exhaust remains unchanged.
