Hyundai has rejigged the variant lineup of the Alcazar. The Korean carmaker now offers the Platinum (O) and Signature (O) with seven-seat and an automatic transmission configuration.
A few weeks ago Hyundai India India discontinued the six-seater base-petrol variant of the Alcazar. However, the carmaker has now introduced two new models at the top of the variant line-up.
The two new variants have been introduced with automatic transmission and a seven-seat layout. The new seven-seat top-of-the-line variants will be offered in both petrol, as well as, diesel engine option.
Following are the detailed prices of the newly launched Hyundai Alcazar variants:
Hyundai Alcazar Platinum (O) seven-seat Petrol AT: Rs. 19.41 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hyundai Alcazar Signature (O) seven-seat Petrol AT: Rs. 19.64 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hyundai Alcazar Platinum (O) seven-seat Diesel AT: Rs. 19.70 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hyundai Alcazar Signature (O) seven-seat Diesel AT: Rs. 19.85 lakh (ex-showroom)
The petrol variant of the Alcazar gets a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated motor. The gearbox is a six-speed torque converter automatic. The manual version gets a six-speed manual. The power is rated at 157bhp and 191Nm.
The diesel variant of the Alcazar is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit with output marked at 113bhp and 250Nm. The gearbox options include a six-speed torque converter auto or a manual transmission.
There are no changes in the feature list, also, the new variants of the Alcazar continue to be the same cosmetically. The entry-level cost of the Hyundai Alcazar now starts at Rs. 16.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
