The Hyundai Alcazar facelift has been spotted testing again, revealing some significant visual changes from the new Creta on which it is based. The test mule sports rectangular split LED headlamps, modified LED DRLs with a connecting light bar, a broad grille with horizontal slats, a reworked bumper, and revised LED taillights. It also has brand-new dual-tone alloy wheels with a swirl pattern. The Hyundai Alcazar currently costs between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh ex-showroom. Owing to significant cosmetic and functional improvements, the price could rise by roughly Rs 70,000 or Rs 80,000. Let's look at the potential features of the revised Hyundai SUV.

New Hyundai Alcazar: Features
While the redesigned SUV will retain the three-row arrangement with seven seats, it may include amenities similar to the new Creta, such as an electrically adjustable driver seat, dual 10.25-inch screens, an ADAS suite, ventilated front seats, and an electronic parking brake. Other significant features could include a 360-degree surround camera, a panoramic sunroof, tyre pressure monitoring, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, and front and rear parking sensors.
New Hyundai Alcazar: Powertrain
The updated Hyundai Alcazar will probably retain the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine options. The former develops 158bhp and 253Nm, while the latter delivers 114.4bhp and 250Nm. The gearbox choices include a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a 6-speed automatic.
New Hyundai Alcazar: Availability
The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift will hit the Indian market during the festive period (September–October), according to industry reports. Originally scheduled for mid-2024, the launch has been postponed for a few months to clear the existing inventory.

In terms of market competition, the SUV will go up against the Tata Safari, the MG Hector Plus, and the Mahindra XUV700 in India. It will come in multiple variants and several colour options, similar to the current iteration. More exact details about the model are expected to be available closer to the launch.
