Hyundai India is planning to launch a range of new models next year. After the redesigned Creta garnered a positive response from buyers, the Alcazar is scheduled for a mid-cycle update and has been spotted testing on Indian roads several times. The test mule spotted most recently was finished in black with silver accents. The facelifted model is expected to arrive in September in six- and seven-seat versions. Upon arrival, it will go up against well-known rivals including the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra Scorpio. Here's what you can expect from the upcoming Hyundai product.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Exterior
In line with the South Korean automaker's most recent Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy, the primary improvements focus on the appearance and cabin. According to spy photos, the new Alcazar will have specially designed alloy wheels with swirl patterns. The spy images also show elements like a reworked front grille, new headlamps with LED daytime running lights (DRLs) similar to the Creta, and a side profile with creases and skid plates. The updated model will further sport connected LED tail lamps and new front and rear bumpers.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Powertrain Options
The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine options will likely remain available for the redesigned Hyundai Alcazar. The former produces 158bhp and 253Nm, while the latter develops 114.4bhp and 250Nm. The gearbox options include a six-speed manual, a six-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a six-speed automatic.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Feature Set
The Alcazar has always been among the most feature-rich cars in its class – even its base model comes standard with most of the features offered with the top-spec variant. Following the revamp, the three-row SUV will come with Level 2 ADAS technology, giving it the same safety features as its primary competitors. The interior will feature a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, ventilated front seats, a dual-pane sunroof, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Expected Price
The current ex-showroom price of the Hyundai Alcazar ranges between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh. The price may increase by approximately Rs 70,000 to Rs 80,000 due to notable upgrades in both appearance and functionality.
