Hyundai has commenced bookings for the updated Alcazar in India for an amount of Rs 25,000 ahead of its launch next month. The South Korean carmaker has also previewed the SUV's exterior and some key features to make it more appealing. The redesigned SUV, available in 6- and 7-seat configurations, includes over 70 connected car capabilities and 40 standard safety features. It features a striking and robust design, with a range of new elements, such as a dark chrome grille, H-shaped LED DRLs, Quad Beam LED headlights, and 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Engine
The new Alcazar has the same engine options (1.5-litre turbo-petrol/1.5-litre diesel) as before. The turbo-petrol unit generates 157.8bhp and 253Nm and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The diesel unit, on the other hand, produces 114.4bhp and 250Nm and comes with either a 6MT or a 6AT gearbox. The SUV has three drive modes – sport, comfort, and eco – and three traction control modes – snow, sand, and mud.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Interior and Features
The 2024 iteration will likely have two 10.25-inch screens – one for the infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster, similar to the updated Creta. It is expected to include an 8-speaker Bose sound system, wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, and front and rear parking sensors. For safety, Hyundai has equipped the new Alcazar with 40 standard safety features and over 70 total safety features, including ADAS.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Expected Price
With a range of cosmetic and feature enhancements, the new Hyundai Alcazar is expected to demand a hefty premium of about Rs 70,000 or Rs 80,000 over its predecessor, which retails between Rs 16.77 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
