The launch of the Hyundai Alcazar facelift is just a week away, and the company has revealed what the vehicle will pack in terms of safety equipment. Scheduled to be launched on September 9 in India, the refreshed Alcazar will feature Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) with smart cruise control, surround view monitor, blind spot view monitor, forward collision warning & avoidance assist, lane keep assist, and driver attention warning, among others.
As standard, the new Hyundai Alcazar will get six airbags, hill-start assist, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, all four disc brakes, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Moreover, the upcoming vehicle will also be equipped with a digital key, front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, hill descent control, and an electrochromic inside rearview mirror. The Alcazar will have a dual-tone interior theme in brown and dark blue, along with creature comforts, like dual integrated screens, automatic climate control, seat ventilation with adjustable thigh support and headrests, and wireless charging. It will be available in both 6- and 7-seat configurations.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Powertrain
The new Alcazar will be offered with the same engine options (a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel engine) as the outgoing version. The turbo-petrol unit generates 157.8bhp and 253Nm and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The diesel unit, on the other hand, produces 114.4bhp and 250Nm and comes with either a 6MT or a 6AT gearbox. Also up for offer will be three drive modes – sport, comfort, and eco – and three traction control modes – snow, sand, and mud.

Bookings of the new Alcazar are underway for a token amount of Rs 25,000. The model will be offered in four variants and nine exterior colours.
