Indonesia and other South East Asian markets will be the first to receive Honda's new SUV. It is expected to arrive in the Indian market as well.

Honda Cars is preparing to unveil a new sub-compact SUV for South East Asian markets, which could soon make its way to Indian shores. Honda has officially unveiled the first teaser image of the SUV and has actually taken it to the roads, as opposed to presenting it online. Yes, the upcoming SUV has been advertised on billboards across Indonesia with the phrase "wheeling soon"—indicating that the global debut may happen very soon.

The SUV's image, which was previously leaked, is likely to be the latest generation WR-V with several interior and exterior upgrades. Even the silhouette of the SUV on the billboard shows the variances. When compared to the WR-V or even the RS concept version, the SUV's front appears to be very distinct. The new SUV may indeed be the new RS, according to the official Honda website in Indonesia. It introduced the soon-to-be-released SUV by remarking, "Welcoming the New RS." However, the model's official name hasn't yet been disclosed by the automaker.

The SUV will have LED headlights, according to the image on the billboard, which resembles those on the HR-V from the previous generation. While the bumper is chunky and houses the LED fog lamps, the grille will have the RS emblem on it. The image also indicates that the SUV will have turn indicators on the mirrors and vertical taillights. A roof rail will be included with the new Honda SUV RS. The inclusion of Honda Sensing technology in the upcoming SUV has been confirmed by Honda.

Indonesia and other South East Asian markets will be the first to receive Honda's new SUV. It is expected to arrive in the Indian market as well. The automaker presently sells the WR-V in India's sub-compact segment. After its launch, the new SUV will compete against models like the Maruti Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet.
