At the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, Honda unveiled a new electric vehicle concept with the familiar nameplate—'Prelude'. This concept retains the original coupe design while being more spacious than its predecessors. It appears to be production-ready and is said to offer a sneak peek at an upcoming Honda electric sports vehicle. Regarding the drivetrain, the Prelude concept is said to have an electrified heart, but the manufacturer has not specified the exact details. For starters, the original Prelude was first released internationally in 1978 and was eventually withdrawn in 2001 after several generations. Honda claims that the new electric Prelude is a developmental concept that will change in the future before going into production. Honda Prelude Concept: Key Design Highlights
The front profile of the concept vehicle has two sharp headlights that are connected to an LED light strip that is located just over the license plate. The bottom part of the bumper has a mesh-patterned black finish with a small vertical design element that is covered in blue. One may observe sideways, flush door handles, angular rocker panels, and black-finished wing mirrors. The automaker also incorporated blue brake callipers and gloss black wheels into the look. The concept has a black lip spoiler, a gloss black bumper, and a full-width LED light strip on the rear. Honda has not yet released any information about the interior. However, more details regarding the interior, drivetrain, and other features are expected to be disclosed soon.

Honda Cars India September 2023 Sales
Honda posted 9,861 domestic vehicle sales in September 2023, an increase of 13% from the same period the year before. The manufacturer stated that, in terms of exports, 1,310 units were sent abroad in September 2023 as opposed to 2,333 units delivered at the same time in 2022. In the sales report for the previous month, the automaker revealed that the brand-new Honda Elevate helped them maintain their sales momentum. This SUV is expected by Honda to significantly contribute to sales during the ongoing festive period. In addition, the Honda City and the Amaze were among the best-performing vehicles for the month of September.
