After much anticipation, Honda has launched the third-generation Amaze in India, with prices ranging between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 10.90 lakh (both ex-showroom). The sedan retains the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 90hp and 110Nm but now includes several cosmetic and technological upgrades. It has three variants (V, VX, and ZX), and is available with six different paint options (Platinum White Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Lunar Silver Metallic). These colour choices are available across all models.

Design-wise, the new Amaze is elegant and modern, with a noticeable hexagonal grille and a chrome strip at the top. The style is further enhanced by two cutting-edge twin-pod LED headlights. A trapezoidal air dam and two LED fog lamps are added to the front bumper, improving the sedan's aerodynamic performance and aesthetic appeal. The new Honda Amaze continues to lock horns with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, the Tata Tigor, and the Hyundai Aura. Bookings for the sedan are currently underway, while deliveries will commence from January.
