For the month of April, Honda Cars India is offering benefits and discounts across its two sedans in the India lineup - the Amaze and the City. The Honda Amaze and the City are now available with up to Rs 17,000 discounts, which come in the form of cash discounts, loyalty bonuses, exchange bonuses, and corporate discounts. It is important to note that these offers will be treated as valid till April 30, 2023. Honda brought to the Indian market the facelifted City with the BS6 Phase II update in March this year at a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The City is one of the cars that the carmaker has currently on sale in India. While the Amaze is also offered with the BS6 2 update at a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). As of now, Honda is the only brand in the country with only sedans in its product portfolio.
Honda Amaze: Discounts & Offers for April 2023
The Honda Amaze has offers in terms of cash discounts, loyalty bonuses, and corporate discounts to the tune of Rs 17,000. The break-up of the discount includes a cash discount of up to Rs 10,000, a loyalty bonus of up to Rs 4,000, and a corporate discount of up to Rs 3,000. The Honda Amaze currently retails between Rs 6.99 lakh for the entry-level E variant and Rs 9.60 lakh for the top-spec VX model. All prices are ex-showroom.

The Amaze is one of the two sedans offered alongside the fifth-generation Honda City in the Indian market. It draws power from a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that churns out 89bhp of maximum power and 110Nm of peak torque. On offer are two transmission options: a 5-speed manual transmission offering 18.6km/l and a CVT unit offering 18.3km/l. The car has been updated to adhere to BS6 Phase 2 or RDE standards. Besides, it also meets E20 compliance. Meanwhile, the Amaze's diesel models have been discontinued since January 2023, if we believe some reports.
Honda City: Discounts & Offers for April 2023
Apart from the Amaze, Honda Cars India is also offering discounts and benefits of up to Rs 15,000 on the fifth-generation City. For buyers planning to buy the City, they can avail of an exchange bonus of up to Rs 6,000, a corporate discount of Rs 5,000, and a customer loyalty bonus of Rs 4,000. However, the offers will vary depending on the variant, area, and dealership.

In terms of powertrain, the Honda City gets two engine options - a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol hybrid unit with two electric motors. Both engines are RDE- and E20-compliant. The petrol engine is good for 119bhp and 145Nm, while the hybrid powertrain generates 124bhp and 253Nm. The car's 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine is no longer available.
As for its pricing, the City starts at Rs 11.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.97 lakh for the top-spec City Hybrid. Prices are ex-showroom. It comes in 4 variants - SV, V, VX, and ZX, and V and ZX variants are offered with the hybrid version of the City.
