The facelift model of the fourth-generation Kia Carnival has been spotted in South Korea. According to industry reports, Kia will offer the facelift with several modifications comprising cosmetic features and a hybrid powertrain. In India, the long-awaited Kia Carnival debuted at the latest edition of the Auto Expo. The carmaker offers the Carnival overseas with three engine options: a 3.5-litre V6 MPi petrol, a new 2.2-litre Smartstream, and a 3.5-litre GDi V6 Smartstream. For India, the new-gen model is anticipated to offer a 2.2-litre diesel engine that could generate 200bhp and 440Nm. It is likely to be paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Price-wise, the new Kia Carnival could command Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom), with higher variants reaching up to Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). There is no update on its launch in India yet, and now ahead of the same, the facelift version of the Fourth-generation Carnival has been spied testing on South Korean roads. Kia Carnival facelift: Engine Details, What's New
A new hybrid powertrain is expected with the facelift model, according to market rumours. It will reportedly have a 1.6-litre petrol engine combined with an electric motor. We have no information on the engine's output yet. However, new details on the engine will soon emerge closer to the global debut.
Kia Carnival facelift: Appearance
According to the spy shots, the facelifted Carnival will have new vertically stacked headlamps that resemble those on the brand-new Kia EV9.
Further, it will have a slightly updated bonnet with additional cuts and creases. The facelift version will also have a revised layout for the LED daytime running lights (DRLs).
The spotted facelift model appears to be unchanged from the existing version from the sideways. According to the images, the alloy wheels' design is identical to the present version. Coming to the rear, the updated Carnival's new taillamps, which have an inverted L-shape are identical to the Kia Seltos facelift.
Kia Carnival facelift: Price & Availability
Right now, there is no official update on the debut of the facelift version, but industry rumours indicate that it could arrive overseas by January 2024. The fourth-generation Carnival as the KA4 MPV was revealed in India at the Auto Expo 2023. It will reportedly launch in the Indian market by later 2023. As mentioned, it could cost between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 40 lakh in India.

2023 Kia Seltos, Carens Launched in India
Kia India has launched the 2023 Carens and the Seltos at an introductory price of Rs 10.45 lakh and Rs 10.89 (Both prices, ex-showroom). These models now come with the biggest update to powertrain, which includes RDE and E20 fuel-compliant engines.
