In the initial phase, the Centre will cater to only the Ford EcoSport by offering premium vehicle personalisation options like rear spoiler, alloy wheels and LED scuff plate.
In order to improve its image, Ford launched its Vehicle Personalisation Centre in India that will allow Ford customers to personalise their cars. This centre will give Ford customers the ‘power of choice’ which will enhance the image of the Ford EcoSport in the first phase.
Spread over an area of 35,000 square feet, the centre will be made at Ford’s Chennai plant, and will be equipped with 19 modification bays which will be operated by Ford’s trained technicians. This means increased level of trust and quality without voiding the warranty of the Ford cars.
Inaugurating the centre, John Cooper, Vice President – Customer Service Division, Ford Asia Pacific said, “Customers today view vehicles as an extension of their own personalities and are keen to customize their cars to stand out from the clutter. The Vehicle Personalisation Centre is an extension of this customer-centric innovation.”
In the first phase, the centre will provide three customisation options to the Ford EcoSport:
- Spare Wheel (Cover) Pack for all EcoSport variants
- Alloys Pack that offers premium quality alloys and rear-spoiler for EcoSport’s Ambiente and Trend trims
- Sports Pack that includes rear-spoiler, LED scuff plate, roof cross-bar for EcoSport’s Titanium and Titanium (O) trims
These customisation options will be provided at affordable prices. Customers will also be able to choose these options at the time of booking their cars.
