Ford adds a new top-end variant to the Freestyle, with the new Flair Edition that kicks off the company’s festive season initiatives.

Bringing in the festive cheer at Ford is the new Freestyle Flair Edition, which will sit atop the variant line-up. It comes with cosmetic enhancements and a free one-year subscription to the JioSavaan app, which can live-stream music through the car’s infotainment system courtesy of the connected car tech that’s available as standard on all Ford models for India. The music streaming app will also host exclusive Ford Freestyle playlists. And since it is the new top-end variant, the Freestyle Flair Edition will, of course, be based on the Titanium+ variant of the car.

Cosmetic enhancements that the Flair Edition brings for the Freestyle include black and red colour inserts to the exterior of the car. They include a set of new black colour alloy wheels, red roof rails, and ORVM casings along with Flair branded decals on the lower section of the doors.

Inside, the Ford Freestyle Flair Edition gets new black and grey upholstery featuring Flair branded seat upholstery and contrasting red accents on black door handles.

The Freestyle Flair Edition will be available in two variants  a 1.2-litre petrol manual and a 1.5-litre diesel manual. There are no mechanical changes to the festive special Freestyle Flair Edition. Introductory prices for the Freestyle Flair Edition are set at Rs 7.69 lakh for the petrol model and Rs 8.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel model – a Rs 30,000 premium over the standard variants of the car.

'Ford Freestyle has been a benchmark compact utility vehicle, thanks to its affable design, value-for-money credentials and outstanding fun-to-drive capabilities,' said Vinay Raina, executive director, Marketing, Sales & Service at Ford India. 'The trendy new Freestyle Flair takes it a notch up & promises to give UV intenders a cool looking vehicle to drive home during the upcoming festive season.'
