The Aspire Blu Edition will only be available with the Titanium variant but with both petrol and diesel engine options.
After introducing the 'Blu' edition with the recently-launched Figo facelift, it has now made its way onto the Aspire compact sedan as well. Available exclusively with the Titanium variant, the Aspire Blu 1.2 petrol has been priced at ₹ 7.50 lakh whereas the 1.5 diesel version carries a price tag of ₹ 8.30 lakh (All prices are Ex-showroom, Delhi). However, both engine options will only be available with a manual transmission. Colour choices for the Aspire Blu Edition include White, Smoke & Moondust Silver.
Much like the Figo, the Aspire Blu Edition carries over the same styling changes, like a dual-tone roof with the top finished in black, a matte black grille & gloss black ORVMs, bigger 15-inch black-painted wheels, blue fog lamp surrounds and a bit of blue livery around the exterior. Inside too, the 'Blu' theme continues with blue-coloured body inserts (door handles) and blue contrast stitching. In terms of features, the offerings remain the same as those in the standard Aspire Titanium version, which include in-built satellite navigation, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking camera, remote central locking, power windows, to name a few.
Mechanically, the Aspire Blu edition receives no changes, which means that the naturally-aspirated three-cylinder 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine puts out the same 95bhp and 120Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.5L TDCi diesel power unit churns out 99bhp and 215Nm of torque.
