Force Motors launched the base variant and the 4x4 version of their SUV – the Force One. This version of the Force one doesn’t get the 2.2-litre engine that already powers the Force One. In fact, the company has given it the 2.6-litre engine, that does duty on the company’s off-roader – Force Gurkha. This 2.6-litre engine produces 82bhp and 230Nm torque.

Feature wise, the base model misses out on daylight running lamps and rear fog lamps are done away with too. Roof rails, alloy wheels too don’t make their way into the base model. The integrated music system is done away with and even the upholstery is fabric. All three rows get air-conditioning.

The new 4x4 on the other hand gets ABS and shift on fly with electronic slip differential. The 4x4 retains the 2.2-litre Daimler engine which produces 140 bhp  321Nm of torque. The price of the base variant is Rs 8.99lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the Force One 4x4 variant will cost Rs. 11.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi)
