Fisker Inc., the American electric brand, has officially announced to manufacture 100 units of the all-electric Fisker Extreme Vigyan Edition SUVs for India. In its press statement, the automaker has revealed that in Q4 2023 (October to December), the deliveries of electric SUVs will commence in our market. In terms of price, the Fisker Extreme Vigyan Edition will command around the same as the version available in Europe, which is 69,950 euros (approximately Rs 61.4 lakh). The Ocean EV, which has three trim levels available globally: Sport, Ultra, and Extreme, is the brand's first product. In our market, the automaker is gearing up to bring the higher-spec model of the electric vehicle. In 2022, Fisker opened an office in Hyderabad. The Fisker Ocean Extreme Vigyan Edition, which bears the name of the company's India division, is anticipated to receive homologation by September. Here are some more details on the e-SUV.

Fisker Ocean EV: Battery & Range
The manufacturer plans to bring a higher-spec variant of the Ocean EV to India. The dual electric motors in the India-spec Ocean EV will be powered by a larger 113kWh battery pack to provide 468bhp. Power output may be increased to 564bhp when the boost mode is employed. The car can accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
According to Fisker, the Ocean Extreme is the longest-range electric SUV currently offered in Europe, with a WLTP range of 707km/440 UK miles, rolling on 20-inch wheels.
Fisker Ocean EV: Exterior, Interior & Features
The front and back of the Fisker Ocean EV are equipped with contemporary lighting components. It also has a kink in the window line, which extends up to the smaller quarter glass panel. Inside, the cabin is made of earth-friendly materials. It also sports an enormous free-floating 17.1-inch touchscreen, which can switch between landscape and portrait settings. In terms of features, the top-spec Ocean Extreme variant has advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a 3D surround sound system, a powered tailgate, and more.

Fisker Ocean EV: Price & Competitors
According to the brand, the Fisker Ocean Extreme Vigyan Edition will cost the same as the European model, which is priced at 69,950 euros. The automaker is yet to reveal the exact price for our market, but according to market estimations, the top-spec version will likely cost around Rs 70 lakh, plus import fees and taxes, bringing the total price to almost a crore. In terms of market competition, it will rival the likes of the BMW iX, the Audi e-tron, and more.
