Fiat opened its latest showroom in Delhi recently. Fiat India sets up yet another independent dealership which will also concentrate on after-sales and service.
Kashyap Fiat’s showroom is spread across an area of 5000 sq ft and also incorporates an 11000 sq ft workshop facility in the same premises. Nagesh Basavanhalli, President and MD, Fiat and Chrysler India inaugurated the showroom and stressed on the need to bring after-sales expertise to India.
He also said that the company will be introducing new brands in the coming months, which was already discussed earlier. Fiat will soon introduce at least five new and refreshed models to the Indian market.
Fiat hasn't introduced a new product in the Indian market after the Punto and the Linea. But with Jeep, Abarth and Chrysler entering the Indian market, their first strategy is to improve their presence in the Indian market. With plans to expand their dealerships to more than 100 this year, Fiat looks set to take on its competitors in India.
