The Fiat Linea has had a long run in India, but it didn't manage to grab the sales numbers, which the Italian car maker was hoping for. But that might change because the Linea replacement, which has just been revealed as the Fiat Aegea, looks very impressive. However, there is no confirmation if the car will make it to India just yet.

The Fiat Aegea was revealed at the Istanbul Auto Show. The compact sedan is based on the Dodge Dart but gets better styling thanks to FCA Style Centre in Italy. The car will also be manufactured in Turkey and exported to 40 countries.

The new Fiat Aegea will be available in two diesel and two petrol engines, with power outputs ranging from 94bhp to 118bhp, and the most fuel-efficient version of the car will have a fuel efficiency of 25km/l. There are also options for automatic and manual transmissions.

The car looks very muscular and has a good stance, and it comes with some nice features too, such as an infotainment system, satellite navigation, and steering mounted controls.

The new Fiat Aegea will be launched in Turkey in November this year, and we will have to wait and see if Fiat decides to bring it to India.
