Ferrari has revealed its one-off supercar— the SP-8, which is based on the F8 Spider. The vehicle was commissioned by a customer based in Taiwan and is part of the Italian automaker's Special Projects programme. The two-seater limited edition has no roof and hence claims to provide its users with an amazing open driving experience. This roofless design, according to the automaker, has been implemented following rigorous aerodynamic refinement of the car via a combination of CFD calculations, wind tunnel testing, and track testing. Design-wise, the Ferrari SP-8 special edition is derived from the F8, yet boasts unique traits.
The front of the car has a longer, more robust splitter and is painted in glossy iridescent Blue Sandstone carbon fibre. In contrast, the rear is painted in a matte Argento Micalizzato gray. It is important to note that the Ferrari SP8 is currently on display at Mugello track in Italy, where it will stay until the end of the Finali Mondiali Ferrari 2023 event on October 30. Later on, it will be exhibited at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello from November 16th to March 2024. Let's take a quick sneak peek at other details of this one-off Ferrari roadster.
