Ferrari has launched the California T in India, a year after it made its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
The California T is the first turbocharged Ferrari in a while: it exploits a 3.8-litre, 8-cylinder engine to deliver 552 bhp and 755 Nm of torque. This enormous power allows the car to race from to 0 to 100km/hr in just 3.6 seconds.
Apart from the striking power specs, the latest California model boasts of 15% better fuel economy, thanks to the the turbo.
On the safety front, the CCM3 carbon ceramic braking system is integrated with the ESP, allowing the car to stop completely from 100km/hr in just 34 metres.
The California T also features a new infotainment system that can be operated by both touchscreen and conventional controls.
Ferrari’s latest offering goes on sale from today and is available at a hefty price tag of Rs 3.45 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).
