Dacia Duster Soul of Dakar Concept: Exterior and Interior
The Dacia Duster Soul of Dakar sets itself apart from the standard third-gen model with a unique black and grey colour scheme accented by vibrant orange details. The design closely resembles the Dacia Sandrider prototype slated to participate in the 2025 Dakar Rally. It also comes with a full range of standard Duster accessories. To emphasise its adventurous character, the vehicle is equipped with several components from the InNature range such as a shovel, a roof rack with movable bars, a waterproof bag, and a weatherproof glove compartment.
The cabin of this one-off model is outfitted with a range of YouClip accessories, featuring additional lighting, hooks for bags, phone holders, and dedicated spaces for cups and tablets.
Dacia Duster Soul of Dakar Concept: Mechanical Core
The custom model is based on the Dacia Duster 1.2 TCe 130 4x4 and maintains its standard mechanical setup without any modifications. The powertrain comprises a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine and a 48V hybrid module, acting as a starter/generator propelled by a 0.8kWh battery. This combination works with the 4x4 system to help the vehicle navigate difficult terrains. The mild-hybrid setup belts out 128bhp of maximum power and is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission. Notably, most Duster versions feature front-wheel drive, however, this model is fitted with an electronic all-wheel-drive system.

The new Duster further houses a control dial between the seats, allowing the driver to select different driving modes such as Snow, Mud/Sand, and Off-Road. Additionally, the Lock mode ensures an equal 50/50 traction split between the front and rear wheels for enhanced off-road capability.
