Volkswagen's comprehensive service support not only covers standard warranty coverage and scheduled maintenance but also takes into consideration the purchase of new and the extension of current extended warranty packages.
Following in the footsteps of automotive giants like Tata, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, and Isuzu, Volkswagen is now offering extended service & warranty support to its customers during the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. The support encompasses all matters concerning the Standard Warranty (SW), purchase of Extended Warranty (EW), current Extended Warranty packages, and Service Value Packages (SVPs).
All VW customers whose Standard Warranty is due to expire between 22nd March 2020 and mid-May 2020 can now avail any support and 100% free-of-charge repairs applicable under the SW conditions up to 31st July 2020. As for all existing EW customers, they can avail extended support up to 15th May 2020 (applicable to those whose EW package is due to expire between 22nd March and 15th April 2020). In case a vehicle's SW is due to expire during the same time period (between 22nd March and 15th April 2020), the respective customer can purchase an EW package within up to 60 days of the expiry of SW.
Any maintenance/service appointments due in the months of March and April 2020 (under the standard terms of an SVP) can be completed till 31st July 2020 at no extra cost. Customers walking into any authorised VW workshop in the country for regular paid maintenance work will also be offered extended support (for details contact your nearest authorised VW workshop).
