Citroen has announced new prices for the C5 Aircross, which will be in effect from next year. Other than that, the flagship French SUV will continue to be the same in terms of features, engine options, and styling.

Citroen India has revised the prices of the C5 Aircross SUV. The new prices of the C5 Aircross will be in effect from January 1, 2022. The SUV will become dearer to customers by three per cent.

In the month of November, the Citroen C5 Aircross received a substantial price increase of up to Rs 1.4 lakh. The new upward revision of pricing will make it more expensive by almost a lakh rupee than its current pricing.

Currently, the Citroen C5 Aircross retails in the range of Rs 29.90 – Rs 31.90 lakh (ex-showroom). In the same five-seat SUV segment, we also have the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson, and the newly launched Volkswagen Tiguan facelift.

While the Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson can be had with either a petrol or a diesel engine, the Volkswagen Tiguan gets only a petrol mill. Interestingly, the Citroen C5 Aircross misses out on a petrol powertrain altogether and comes equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel unit. The gearbox on offer is an eight-speed automatic.
