The French automobile brand – Citroen – has plans to expand its model line-up for India with the launch of the new C3X crossover in 2024, which is currently under development. In recent news, a test mule of the C3X sedan has been caught doing testing rounds in the country. Even though the prototype is heavily camouflaged, the Citroen C3X appears to borrow some design cues from the C3 range. Going by the spy shots, the new C3X will have a similar front fascia with low-set headlights, Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, and body panels including fenders and doors. Other design bits could include flat-type door handles, a fastback-like raked rear windscreen, a sloping roof, etc.
The crossover is expected to have a length of 4,300 to 4,400mm and a wheelbase similar to that of the C3 Aircross SUV. Besides, the new offering from Citroen may sit on sporty alloy wheels and have a rugged-looking plastic body wrapped all around.
