Spy shots of the Citroen C3 undergoing testing indicate that it will have some additional features.
The Citroen C3 is the French carmaker's entry-level offering here in India. And while it is competitively priced, it misses on a few essential features offered by the competition. But all this might change soon, for recent spy shots of new the C3 suggest that it's likely to get additional features like a rear wash and wipe system, alloy wheels, and a rear defogger. Alloy wheels are currently a dealer-fit option.
Rumours also suggest the C3 could get more features on the inside. Perhaps a tachometer? Citroen could offer these features with the existing two variants (Live and Feel) or launch a third top-end variant, which will exclusively get the extra goodies. Obviously, the brand has not officially announced any of this.
It is speculated that Citroen would offer these additional features in keeping with the C3's existing pricing structure. For the uninitiated, the current price of the C3 starts at ₹5.88 lakh and goes up to ₹8.15 lakh for the top-end turbo Feel variant (ex-showroom). Currently, the C3 competes with small SUVs like the Tata Punch and the lower trims of the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
