The recently launched brand new Citroën C3 hatchback has now become dearer, thanks to a price hike by Citroën India. The prices of C3 have currently escalated by as much as ₹17,000.
The C3 hatchback is the second addition to the line-up by the French manufacturer. Considered a competent rival to the likes of the Nissan Maganite, Maruti Wagon R, Tata Tiago, and Renault Kiger, this feature-packed car was introduced in two broad trims, namely, Live and Feel.

As evident from the table above, the 1.2-litre petrol variants of C3 witnessed the same price bump of ₹17,000 each, whereas the turbo trim variant received a price hike of approximately ₹9,000. Citroën India has not yet stated any reason for the price increase. The latest announcement regarding the price hike marks the end of introductory prices, which now lies between ₹5.88 lakh and ₹8.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
