The much-anticipated C3 Aircross SUV has finally been launched by Citroen India, with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh. Bookings for the SUV have already started at Rs 25,000, and according to reports, the company will begin deliveries on October 15—before the holiday season. The new C3 Aircross SUV is the company's third vehicle designed specifically for the Indian market, joining the C3 and the e-C3 in the lineup. The SUV's amenities include a 10.25-inch touchscreen entertainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, roof-mounted air vents, linked car technology, automated climate control, USB ports, and more. Citroen C3 Aircross SUV: Powertrain
For propulsion, the new SUV employs a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 108bhp of maximum power output and 190Nm of peak torque. The motor comes paired with only a six-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the mid-size SUV has an ARAI-certified 18.5 km/l of fuel efficiency.

The SUV is approximately 4300mm long, has a wheelbase of 2671mm, and a ground clearance of 200mm. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, USB ports, steering-mounted controls, a first for the segment roof-mounted air vents, and more are included in the new Citroen C3 Aircross SUV. It has a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a hill-hold assist, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program, and auto start-stop technology for safety. However, it is important to note that these features may vary depending on the variant.
Citroen C3 Aircross SUV: Price, Market Rivals and Availability
Price-wise, the SUV is available at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh for the base 1.2P Turbo You variant. The top-spec Max variant costs between Rs 11.95 and Rs 12.10 lakh, while prices for the mid-spec Plus begin from Rs 11.30 lakh and go up to Rs 11.45 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). The car is available in 3 versions, including a 5+2 seating variation known as the Flexi Pro (only offered for the Including and Max variants).

Over the 5-seater C3 Aircross, this Flexi Pro model charges a premium of Rs 35,000. Further, customers will need to spend an additional Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 for the dual-tone and the Vibe Pack, respectively. The Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, and other vehicles available in the market compete with the new Citroen SUV. Reports state that on October 15, the automaker will begin dispatching the SUV in the Indian market.
