Chevrolet Corvette EV Concept Unveiled by GM's UK Design Team
The electric Chevrolet Corvette concept stands out with a sharp two-tone design that clearly separates the top and bottom halves.

General Motors has unveiled the electric Corvette concept, signalling a major step in the evolution of its legendary sports car. The concept was revealed at the grand opening of GM’s new UK design studio. Renowned for its performance legacy, the Corvette has progressed from front-engine icons to the mid-engine C8—now entering a new chapter with this electric concept. The concept is expected to feature advanced EV technology while maintaining the dynamic performance that defines the Corvette name.
Michael Simcoe, senior VP of global design said: 'As part of the Corvette creative study, we asked multiple studios to develop hypercar concepts, which we'll see more of later this year. It was important that they all pay homage to Corvette's historic DNA, but each studio brought their own unique creative interpretation to the project. That is exactly what our advanced design studio network is intended to do - push the envelope, challenge convention and imagine what could be.'
The electric Corvette concept stands out with its sharp two-tone exterior. Its design clearly separates the top and bottom halves. The upper section features a modern take on the classic Corvette shape. Below, the chassis houses the EV battery structure, highlighting its electric core.
Aerodynamics play a key role in this concept. The body has been sculpted to control airflow without needing large spoilers or wings. This approach creates a smooth and high-performance profile.
The car’s compact and aggressive look adds to its track-ready image. It measures 4,669mm in length, 2,178mm in width, and just 1,033mm in height. Large 22-inch front and 23-inch rear wheels boost grip and stability. Inside, the seat height is only 127 mm, giving a low, race-car feel.
