BYD has launched its new electric MPV, the eMAX 7, in India. The Premium variant starts at Rs 26.9 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Superior model is priced at Rs 29.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The eMAX 7 is a refreshed version of the E6 MPV and now offers a spacious seven-seater layout, along with a new exterior design and upgraded interior features. The Superior variant comes with a 71.8 kWh battery, providing a claimed range of 530km on a single charge, while the Premium model has a 55.4 kWh battery with a claimed range of 420 km. Both variants have a front-wheel-drive motor that produces 201BHP and 310Nm of torque, allowing for a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 8.6 seconds. BYD states that the eMAX 7 can charge from 0 to 80 per cent in just 37 minutes with a compatible 71.8 kWh DC fast charger.

BYD eMax 7: Design
The BYD eMAX 7 features a modern and refreshed exterior design. At the front, it has sleek LED daytime running lights and headlamps that blend smoothly with the grille. The updated front bumper adds sophistication, enhanced by chrome accents. For convenience, the eMAX 7 includes a front parking camera, 360-degree cameras, and parking sensors to help with parking in tight spaces. On the sides, it has standard door handles and stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. The rear has a clean design with connected LED taillamps, LED daytime running lights, and a powered tailgate for easy access to the cargo area.
BYD eMax 7: Interior
The eMAX 7 features a completely redesigned interior that is spacious and comfortable. It is available in both six and seven-seater configurations. The large panoramic moonroof brings in natural light and adds to the feeling of openness. The updated dashboard has a modern look, with a 12.8-inch rotating infotainment screen that connects wirelessly to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The eMAX 7 is equipped with many features, including a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ambient lighting.

Safety is a priority in the eMAX 7, which includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, and other advanced safety systems. The vehicle also offers Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for added safety and convenience. Additionally, the eMAX 7 has Vehicle-to-Load technology, allowing it to serve as a mobile power source.

BYD has launched the eMAX 7 in India, available in two variants and four colour options. The six-seater Premium variant is priced at ₹26.90 lakh (ex-showroom), while the seven-seater Superior variant costs ₹29.90 lakh.
The Premium variant comes with a 55.4 kWh battery pack, offering a good balance of range and performance. For a longer driving range, the Superior variant features a more powerful 71.8 kWh battery.
