BYD Atto 3 Facelift Globally Revealed with Updated Design and Improved ADAS Tech
One of the biggest advancements in the new Atto 3 is the integration of BYD’s Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), branded as “God’s-eye-C” (DiSus 100).

The images of the 2025 BYD Atto 3 have recently surfaced online. While the interior remains undisclosed, the refreshed e-SUV features notable exterior refinements and enhanced ADAS capabilities. BYD rolled out an updated Atto 3 last year, aligning it with the model’s global facelift. Marketed as the Yuan Plus in China, the latest version draws significant design inspiration from its smaller sibling, the Atto 2. The Chinese EV manufacturer has yet to announce an official launch timeline for the facelifted Atto 3. However, given the company’s ongoing expansion in India, the refreshed model is expected to arrive in the market in the near future.
BYD Atto 3 Facelift: Styling

For 2025, the Atto 3 has been given a sleeker and more premium appearance. The front bumper now features a larger trapezoidal grille, paired with narrower air intakes, while the headlamp unit and its signature chrome connector bar remain unchanged.

A striking visual modification is the removal of the C-pillar scales, which have been replaced with a sleek silver window trim, lending the SUV a more refined and streamlined profile. The redesign also introduces updated LED taillights with a more intricate pattern, revamped rear quarter windows, a restyled rear bumper, dynamic turn signals, a roof spoiler with integrated dual brake lights, new 18-inch alloy wheels, and a more pronounced crease along the rocker panels, further emphasising its contemporary and dynamic styling.
BYD Atto 3 Facelift: Expected Mechanical Setup
The Atto 3 facelift is expected to maintain its current mechanical configuration without notable alterations. The India-spec model is powered by a 60.5kWh LFP battery, delivering 201bhp of maximum power and 310Nm of peak torque through a single motor mounted at the front. Additionally, a 49.9kWh version is available, producing the same power output but offering a lower 345km WLTP range, compared to the 420km WLTP range of the higher-capacity battery.
BYD Atto 3 Facelift: Cabin and Safety Set
The interior revisions of the updated Atto 3 are yet to be revealed, but the overall cabin layout will likely remain largely unchanged. However, new upholstery options and feature enhancements are anticipated. The previous update added a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display, similar to the ones found in the Sealion 7 SUV and the Seal sedan, along with a panoramic sunroof and a 360-degree holographic imaging system.

One of the biggest advancements in the new Atto 3 is the integration of BYD’s Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), branded as “God’s-eye-C” (DiSus 100). This system combines three high-definition cameras below the windshield, along with a total of 29 monitoring sensors, five long-range cameras, four surround-view cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and five millimetre-wave radars. The updated model is also capable of handling ten advanced high-speed navigation scenarios and six intelligent parking modes, enhancing both safety and autonomous driving capabilities.
