Prices of the petrol-powered variants have been slashed by up to Rs 72,000. The W6 and W6 AMT diesel variants have experienced a bump in pricing – all other diesel trims too are more affordable now
The competition in the sub-4 metre SUV space is really heating up. Kia Motors has just taken the wraps off the Sonet and Hyundai too has launched the 2020 Venue. It doesn’t come as a surprise then, that Mahindra has prepped for the battle by slashing the prices of the XUV300.
Mahindra brought in the BS6 XUV300 petrol in March at a starting price of Rs 8.30 lakh for the base W4 trim. The Nashik-based carmaker has now slashed its price by Rs 35,000 to Rs 7. 95 lakh. Prices of other petrol variants have been reduced too. The W6 is priced at Rs 8.98 lakh, the W8 at Rs 9.90 lakh and the top-spec W8 (O) at Rs 11.12 lakh. Moving on to the diesel trims. Pricing of most diesel variants have been reduced too with the exception of the W4, W6 and the W6 AMT – both of which have experienced a rise. The W4 diesel now starts at Rs 8.70 lakh – which is just Rs 1,000 more than before. The W6 and the W6 AMT demand Rs 9.70 lakh and Rs 10.20 lakh respectively.
