Bookings for the X4 Silver Shadow Edition are open now.
BMW recently launched the facelifted X4 in India and also introduced a stealthy X4 Dark Shadow Edition. The new X4 Silver Shadow Edition is essentially the polar opposite of that, with high gloss chrome details all over, in case subtle is not your style.
On the outside, the X4 Silver Shadow Edition gets high gloss chrome on the grille frame and the grille inserts, while the bumper gets a shadow metallic finish and high gloss chrome on the inlays and it also gets chrome tailpipes at the rear. The X4 Silver Shadow Edition can be had in one of three colours – Phytonic Blue (pictured), Carbon Black or Alpine White.
Inside, the X4 Silver Shadow Edition gets Vernasca Leather upholstery in a shade of Mocha, complimented by M interior trim in Aluminium Rhombicle dark with highlight trim finisher in Pearl Chrome. Other bits like the twin 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment display, Harman Kardon sound system, head-up display and the BMW Parking Assistant are carried over from the Dark Shadow Edition.
The X4 Silver Shadow Edition comes in both diesel and petrol flavours. The xDrive30d diesel variant produces 261.5bhp and 620Nm, enabling a 0 to 100km/h time of 5.8 seconds. The xDrive30i petrol produces 248bhp and 350Nm and has a marginally 0 to 100km/h time of 6.6 seconds. Both engines are paired to the 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission and come with the xDrive all-wheel-drive system as standard.
The BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition is priced at Rs 71.90 lakh for the xDrive30i variant and goes up to Rs 73.90 lakh for the xDrive30d variant. Bookings are already open at BMW dealerships across the country and on BMW’s website.
