
BMW M3 CS Touring Unveiled Globally with 542bhp, Does 0-100Km/h in 3.5 Seconds

BMW has officially unveiled the M3 CS Touring globally, a high-performance variant of its popular M3 Touring, delivering an impressive 542bhp from its 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six engine. The car accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.5 seconds, offering a thrilling driving experience. To boost performance, the M3 CS Touring includes upgraded electronically controlled dampers and a front strut brace for enhanced rigidity. The braking system is further enhanced, with an option for carbon ceramic discs. The exhaust system features adjustable valves and a titanium rear silencer, delivering the signature M-car sound. Weight-saving efforts include the use of carbon fibre for the mirror caps, hood, air intakes, rear diffuser, and front splitter, trimming a total of 15 kg. The 19-inch front and 20-inch rear M light-alloy wheels add to the car’s aggressive stance.
BMW M3 CS Touring: Engine and Transmission
The BMW M3 CS Touring is equipped with a powerful 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six engine that produces 542bhp of maximum power at 6,250rpm and 650Nm of peak torque at 2,750rpm. This performance beast comes with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

Capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reaching 200km/h in 11.7 seconds, it boasts a top speed of 300km/h when paired with the standard M Driver’s Package. Engineering enhancements include customised chassis tuning, a reinforced crankcase, as well as a lightweight forged crankshaft.
BMW M3 CS Touring: Visual Highlights
The BMW M3 CS Touring not only reduces its weight but also adopts a more bold and aggressive aesthetic. It features a distinctive kidney grille with red accents, paired with yellow daytime running lights (DRLs). The vehicle sports 19-inch front and 20-inch rear forged wheels, available in gold bronze or matte black finishes, with an optional ceramic brake package.

Buyers can choose from four paint options: Frozen Solid White, British Racing Green, Laguna Seca Blue, and Sapphire Black. The car also comes with a glossy black roof and a red-accented spoiler, though there is no option for a carbon fibre roof.
BMW M3 CS Touring: Cabin and Features
As far as the interior is concerned, a driver-focused layout is brought to life by BMW’s Curved Display powered by Operating System 8.5, seamlessly merging a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 14.9-inch infotainment screen. The luxurious Merino leather upholstery is complemented by a flat-bottomed steering wheel wrapped in soft Alcantara with a red marker at the 12 o’clock position. Red CS badges are strategically positioned for a unique visual touch.

The cabin also features a dynamic design with extensive use of carbon fibre accents, emphasising its high-performance character. Standard M Carbon bucket seats, equipped with heating and electric adjustments, showcase illuminated CS branding – an option in the standard M3 Touring. Carbon fibre finishes also adorn the interior trims, paddle shifters, and centre console.

Although BMW has not disclosed the global price, the M3 CS Touring is expected to carry a premium over the standard version. UK pricing starts at £120,600 (roughly Rs 1.30 crore). Production numbers remain unspecified.
The deliveries for markets such as South Korea, Europe, Japan, and Australia will begin in March 2025. It is important to note the car will not go on sale in the U.S. market.
