BMW India to Increase Prices by up to 3% from January 1
According to BMW, both locally assembled and CBU (completely built-up) models will see a price hike of up to 3% starting next year.
BMW has announced a price increase across its entire model lineup, effective from January 1, 2025. Although the company has not detailed the reasons for the move, it confirmed that both locally assembled and CBU (completely built-up) models will see a price hike of up to 3%. This decision follows Mercedes-Benz's announcement to raise prices by 3% starting next year. Mercedes-Benz attributed its price hike to rising shipping costs, inflationary pressures, and increased material expenses, all of which have contributed to higher operating costs.

BMW M5: Some Key Highlights
The all-new M5 has a plug-in hybrid powertrain and a price tag of Rs 1.99 crore (ex-showroom). It comes with luxurious leather upholstery, a customised centre console, a three-spoke steering wheel with a red center marker, and illuminated M buttons. The luxury sedan also has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a head-up display, all enhanced with exclusive M-themed graphics.

The new M5 draws its power from a twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 engine paired with a plug-in hybrid system. This powerful combination generates 717bhp and a hefty 1000Nm. The power is distributed to all four wheels via an 8-speed transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system. With the added hybrid assistance, the M5 can run on electric power alone for up to 69 kilometres.
