BMW India launches M Performance Training programme

BMW India has launched the M Performance Training programme, a full day driver training event for Indian car enthusiasts which will be held across three cities. The programme will see trained BMW driving experts demonstrate features, performance and ability of their range of cars.

BMW India has launched the M Performance Training programme, a full day driver training event for Indian car enthusiasts which will be held across three cities.

The BMW M Performance Training programme is an exclusive driver training event that will be offered by BMW India to allow car enthusiasts hone their driving skills.

The programme will see trained BMW driving experts demonstrate features, performance and ability of their range of cars. The event will take place in three cities - New Delhi, Aamby Valley and Bengaluru. The driver training programme itself will include of learning and testing skills like precision cornering, high-speed straights and dynamic braking and avoidance manoeuvres, dual lane changes, oversteering, understeering and timed slalom changes in elevation.

Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India said, “The BMW M Performance Training program offers fast and dynamic action on race track environment with the emphasis on highest levels of safety. Professional BMW instructors offer guidance on performance and safe driving both on and off race track developing a perfect command on vehicles in any situation. We are delighted to bring this exclusive program to India and impart petrol heads with all the necessary skills a professional driver could ever need.”

The current BMW M line up consist of six vehicles. They include the BMW M3 sedan, M4 Coupe, M5 sedan, M6 Grand Coupe, in addition to the X5 M and X6 M SUVs.
