BMW India's 'Facility NEXT' dealership has BMW, Mini, and BMW Motorrad brands under one roof.
BMW India has launched a new dealership in Chandigarh. Well, that’s not a big news, we agree. But, according to the company, it’s BMW’s first integrated dealership in the country, meaning the outlet will have products from all of its three brands – BMW, Mini, and BMW Motorrad – under one roof.
Run under the banner of Krishna Automobiles, the dealership has been selling BMW cars thus far, but it has now added Mini and BMW Motorrad brands to its sales and aftersales channels in Chandigarh. The dealership is also a part of BMW Motorrad’s expanding network in the country, especially after the launch of its made-in-India bikes, the G 310 R & G 310 GS.
As for the dealership, it's spread over a total area of 50,500 sq. ft. and has both sales and service facilities for BMW, Mini, and BMW Motorrad brands. The showroom area has a seven-car display and a four-car display zone for BMW Premium Selection cars. The Mini section has a three-car display along with a display of Mini Lifestyle and Accessories, while the Motorrad showroom will showcase 12 motorcycles from the brand.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Vikram Pawah, Chairman, BMW Group India said, “The BMW Facility NEXT Concept is our view of how retail will shape and play a crucial role in the brand’s interaction with the customers. With this concept, we have integrated all three brands - BMW, Mini and BMW Motorrad under one roof, providing a full spectrum of our products and services. We are delighted to bring the first BMW Facility NEXT Concept showroom in the country to Chandigarh. This is an important market for us and we have experienced a strong pull for all three brands - BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad here. Our long-standing relationship with Krishna Automobiles is now strengthened further as we also appoint them as our dealer partner for MINI and BMW Motorrad in one of the most promising markets in India.”
