Nearly four months after launching the 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro Edition in a turbo-petrol guise, BMW has now introduced the new diesel variant of the model in question. Touted as the BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro, the new model carries a sticker price of Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and can be purchased either through the company's online portal or by visiting the nearest BMW India dealership. The model is being built at the company's Chennai plant.
In addition to a 255bhp, 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro Edition features a 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine. Mated to an eight-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission, the BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro develops 187bhp and 400Nm of peak torque at 1,750-2,500rpm. This results in a claimed 0–100km/h acceleration time of 7.6 seconds. The model additionally offers cruise control with a braking function and steering wheel paddle shifters for 'greater driving pleasure'. You get to choose from the following driving modes: Eco, Pro, Comfort, and Sport.

BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro: Exterior
On the outside, the BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro has a blacked-out kidney grille and adaptive LED headlamps with M Lights Shadowline elements and darkened inlays. Other exterior bits include an M-specific aero package, M door sill finishers front and rear, a high gloss black rear diffuser, and daytime running lamps-cum-turn indicators. Exterior colour options are Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, Carbon Black, and Portimao Blue.
BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro: Interior, Features
Inside, the BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro sedan offers M Headliner anthracite upholstery, electrically adjustable leather front seats, a panoramic sunroof, 3-zone automatic climate control, and ambient lighting. Adding to the premium quality of the sedan is a curved display combining a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 16-speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound system, central air vents, and OTA updates also form part of the mix.

Safety-wise, the BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro is equipped with a 360-degree camera, six airbags, auto start-stop, Blind Spot Assistant, ISOFIX mounts, and Park Assistant Plus with Remote 3D View, among other things.
