Bharat Mobility Expo: The Tata Curvv SUV in a near-production-ready version has made its debut at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo. Under the hood of this variant is a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 113bhp, as opposed to the ICE version that was on exhibit at the Auto Expo last year. The version that has recently been showcased has some visual enhancements. These include altered foglamp and headlight housings, a modified front bumper, and an LED lightbar with extensions along the outside corners akin to those found on the Nexon SUV. Instead of the original body colour, the grille has a black finish and is blanked out. Furthermore, there's a new air vent situated between the grille and the housing number plate.
The air inlet on the front bumper has been increased in size, and a discernible faux skid plate has been added. However, the alloy wheels with a petal design and the flush-sit door handles are still part of this particular version. The LED light bar at the back gets a black hue, and the taillamps are now equipped with production-ready parts. Moreover, additional lights have been installed within the triangle insets of the bumper. In all, the rear profile doesn't deviate too much from the concept that was shown the previous year.

The 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that powers the Tata Nexon facelift will also drive the Curvv. It has a six-speed manual transmission and is calibrated to produce 113bhp and 260Nm of performance numbers.
Talking about the features, the Curvv is anticipated to pack many amenities, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo in the center, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch-digital-driver-'s display, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and a high-end audio system, a wireless charging pad, and others.
The Curvv's dimensions are 1,810mm in width, 1,630mm in height, and 4,308mm in length. With a 422-litre boot, the car has a wheelbase of 2,560mm.
Tata Curvv: Market Availability
The ICE-powered Tata Curvv is anticipated to go on sale in the nation before the end of 2024, however, there is no official confirmation. Its electric variant is expected to be released first. Unfortunately, not much data is known on the electric drivetrain; but, the car is reportedly built on the manufacturer's Gen2 structure. It is said to have a 500-kilometres of range.
