Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: VinFast showcased its global electric vehicle (EV) lineup at the Expo, including the VF e34, VF3, VF Wild, and VF9 models.

Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast displayed its electric vehicles at the Auto Expo 2025 in India. The company is preparing to enter the Indian EV market and plans to build a factory near Chennai to support its operations. Recent road tests of VinFast models in India have drawn attention, showcasing their features and design. VinFast, a subsidiary of Vietnam's Vingroup, started in 2017 and offers EVs like the VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9. The VF3, a compact two-door EV, is popular in Vietnam. In October 2024, VinFast delivered over 11,000 EVs, with total sales for the year surpassing 51,000 units.

VinFast showcased its global electric vehicle (EV) lineup at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, including the VF e34, VF3, VF Wild, and VF9 models. The company is preparing for its India entry, with the VF e34 electric crossover expected to launch this year.

Vf E34

The VF e34 features a 41.9kWh battery and a front-mounted motor delivering 150bhp and 242Nm of torque. It offers an NEDC-certified range of 318.6km on a full charge, making it a practical option for urban and highway driving. The range stands at 277 km.

The VF3 is a compact two-door, four-seat EV, housing a 49bhp rear-mounted motor producing 110Nm of torque. Its 18.64kWh battery offers a range of up to 210km (NEDC). Its compact size and efficient range make it suitable for Indian cities. The VF 3 is anticipated to have a starting price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). It is set to compete with the MG Comet EV while also serving as an alternative to the Tata Tiago EV and Tata Tigor EV.

VF Wild

The electric vehicle manufacturer has also showcased its VF Wild electric pickup truck concept at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, alongside unveiling its latest lineup of electric SUVs. This concept vehicle, which made its global premiere at CES in Las Vegas last year, marks the brand’s inaugural entry into the pickup truck segment. The model features a streamlined front end, minimalist lighting accents, and a prominent skid plate for added boldness. Its rugged appeal is amplified by heavy-duty cladding and innovative details such as recessed door handles and rear-hinged suicide doors. The design is further elevated by a panoramic glass roof and state-of-the-art digital side mirrors.

The VF 8 features a dual-motor configuration that ensures all-wheel drive (AWD) capability. This system produces an impressive combined output of 402bhp and 640Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.5 seconds. A high-capacity battery powers the vehicle, offering an estimated range of up to 480 km (WLTP). Moreover, its fast-charging technology enables the battery to recover up to 70% of its charge in approximately 30 minutes.

The VinFast VF9, the flagship offering from the brand, is a spacious electric SUV capable of seating seven adults and delivering a range exceeding 500 km on a single charge. It is equipped with a powerful 123kWh battery and a dual-motor system that enables all-wheel drive (AWD). This setup produces a combined output of 402bhp and 620Nm of torque. The VF9 boasts an electronically capped top speed of 200km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.63 seconds.
