Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: JSW MG Motor India has introduced the brand-new Majestor SUV at the ongoing edition of the highly anticipated Auto Expo. The showcased model marks a significant update to the MG Gloster, which was first launched in India in 2020 and was due for a refresh. The rebranded Majestor boasts significant design and interior changes, along with an array of new features. Despite these updates, the vehicle's engine options remain the same, with the diesel engine continuing as the sole powertrain. Although an official release date has not been announced, the MG Majestor is expected to be available in India by April 2025. The model is expected to carry an ex-showroom price tag of close to Rs 46 lakh.

On the mechanical front, the Majestor is expected to retain the 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine from the Gloster, delivering 213bhp of maximum power and 478Nm of peak torque. It will come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, with an optional 4x4 drivetrain.
MG Majestor: Feature and Safety Suite
The MG Majestor's interior will receive minor yet notable updates, such as a revamped steering wheel, a fully digital instrument panel, as well as fresh upholstery. Expect enhancements like a panoramic sunroof, a larger, freestanding infotainment display, and wireless charging for phones. Other features will come in the form of powered, ventilated, and heated front seats, a high-end sound system, and three-zone automatic climate control.
Regarding safety, the Majestor is likely to come equipped with multiple airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and a comprehensive set of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
MG Majestor: Exterior
This facelifted Gloster showcases a striking front with an oversized grille featuring gloss black accents, complemented by vertically stacked LED headlights and slim LED DRLs. The redesigned bumper incorporates additional lighting elements, enhancing the vehicle’s modern aesthetics. On the sides, the Majestor is outfitted with side steps, 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, as well as black body cladding. The black finishes extend to the door handles, ORVMs, roof, and pillars (A, B, and C). At the rear, the SUV features refreshed connected LED taillights and an updated bumper design.

Upon launch in our market, the MG model will take on the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq and Toyota Fortuner.
