Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: The ongoing auto expo is setting the stage for the future of electric vehicles (EVs), with an impressive display of cutting-edge technology. The opening days of the event have drawn significant attention, with Maruti Suzuki unveiling its first-ever electric vehicle, the e Vitara, and Hyundai launching the much-anticipated Creta EV, blending the SUV’s popularity with eco-friendly performance. International brands such as Vinfast have also contributed to the excitement, showcasing their stylish and forward-thinking electric models. This year’s expo highlights the rapid growth of EVs in India, offering a sneak peek into the future of sustainable mobility. Here’s a glimpse at some of the standout electric vehicles showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.
MG Cyberster
The Cyberster has a 505bhp/725Nm dual electric motor arrangement and a 77kWh battery that delivers a WLTP-claimed range of 443 kilometres. It is equipped with a trio of digital displays, paddle shifters, dual-zone climate control, a retractable roof, a flat-bottom steering wheel, ambient lighting, six-way electrically adjustable ventilated seats, and an eight-speaker Bose sound system. While the official launch date is still pending, the Cyberster will be available exclusively at MG's 'Select' dealerships.
Hyundai Creta Electric
The Creta Electric is priced between Rs 17.99 lakh and Rs 23.50 lakh. These are ex-showroom and introductory prices. The EV is available in four variants—Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence—and two battery options (42kWh and 51.4kWh).

The range stands at up to 473 kilometres. Features-wise, the Creta EV has ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and dual 10.25-inch screens. It has six airbags (standard), a 360-degree camera, and ADAS for safety.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The e Vitara SUV has made its debut in India for the first time at the 2025 Auto Expo. The electric SUV will be available with two battery pack options: 49kWh and 61kWh, and a range of over 500 kilometres. It packs a range of impressive features such as a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree surround-view camera, automatic climate control, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, and Level-2 ADAS. While the official prices will be announced by March 2025, the electric vehicle is expected to start at around Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Avinya Concept
The Tata Avinya is a bold showcase of the brand’s electric mobility ambitions. It builds on the original 2022 concept, with a more refined design. Inside, the concept has a dual-tone colour scheme, cutting-edge touch controls, a sleek two-spoke steering wheel, and T-shaped lighting accents. It is equipped with JLR’s dedicated Electrified Modular Architecture (EMA). Although the Tata Avinya Concept is not expected to enter production, a model inspired by it is set to hit the roads in 2026, offering a range of over 500 kilometres.
Kia EV6 Facelift
The updated Kia EV6, recently showcased at the Auto Expo, is ready to hit the Indian market in March this year. Bookings for the refreshed electric SUV are already open, creating buzz among enthusiasts. The all-new EV6 gets an 84kWh battery pack and a dual-motor electric powertrain delivering 321bhp and 605Nm, and a claimed range of over 650 kilometres.
BYD Sealion 7
The Sealion 7 is set to go on sale in India by March 2025. It will be available in single and dual motor options, and an 82.56kWh battery pack. The single motor version generates 308.7bhp/380Nm and offers a range of 567 kilometres, while the dual motor setup provides 523bhp/690Nm with a range of 542 kilometres. Bookings for the car are now open, with a token amount of Rs 70,000. It is expected to cost around Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom).
Skoda Elroq
The Skoda Elroq, based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform—shared with the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe—offers three battery options overseas. It measures 4,488mm in length and has a 2,765mm wheelbase. The Skoda Elroq comes packed with impressive features, a heads-up display, a 13-inch floating infotainment system, and a fully digital driver’s display. Though not officially confirmed, the Skoda Elroq could be launched in India soon, with an estimated starting price of around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Vinfast VF 3, V5 6, VF 7
Vietnamese automaker VinFast made its grand debut in India at the Bharat Mobility Expo, showcasing an exciting range of electric vehicles, including the VF 3, VF 6, and VF 7. The VF 3 features a 40.4bhp/110Nm rear-wheel-drive motor and offers a claimed range of up to 215 kilometres. Meanwhile, the VF 6 comes with two powertrain options, paired with a 59.6kWh battery, and claimed range of up to 410 kilometres. The larger VF 7, an SUV, is equipped with a 75.3kWh battery and has a range of up to 450 kilometres.
BMW iX1 LWB
The BMW iX1 Long Wheelbase has launched in India for Rs 49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 66.4 kWh battery and a 201.2bhp/250Nm electric motor that enables a range of 531 kilometres. The SUV is packed with several features, like a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a 10.7-inch infotainment display, a park assist system, and powered front seats with a massage function.
Porsche Macan EV
The Macan Electric is offered in three variants in our market: RWD, 4S, and Turbo. The base RWD variant is priced at Rs 1.21 crore (ex-showroom), while the top-of-the-line Turbo variant is available for Rs 1.68 crore (ex-showroom).

The top-spec version has a 95kWh battery and dual electric motors producing 630.2bhp and 1130Nm. With this setup, the car offers a 0 to 100km/h sprint time of 3.3 seconds.
Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV Night Series
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV Night Series is priced at Rs 2.63 crore (ex-showroom) in India. While the SUV features several exterior and interior enhancements over the standard model, it retains the same dual-motor setup, delivering a combined output of 658bhp and 950Nm.
Porsche Taycan
The price of the Porsche Taycan in India starts at Rs 1.89 crore and Rs 2.52 crore (ex-showroom). In its highest variant, the car sports a 105kWh battery and dual electric motors that produce up to 871bhp and 890Nm, enabling a range of up to 630 kilometres.
