The Bharat Mobility Expo is around the corner, and automotive enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the unveiling of exciting new models. The 2025 edition of Bharat Mobility, scheduled for January 17-22, will feature a mix of cutting-edge electric vehicles (EVs), auto parts, two-wheelers, construction machinery, and batteries. While the first two days are reserved exclusively for media and dealers, the general public will be able to join the action starting January 19. The upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo will be hosted at three different venues: Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. Let’s take a look at the 5 most exciting car debuts that are expected to steal the spotlight at this year’s event.
MG Cyberster
MG’s captivating Cyberster electric sports car will make a grand entrance at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The high-performance EV packs a powerful dual-motor setup generating 503bhp (510PS) and 725Nm, thanks to advanced technology like a waterfall oil-cooling system and 8-layer flat wire winding. Powered by a 77kWh battery, the Cyberster has a range of 580 kilometres (CLTC) and 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of 3.2 seconds. While the international market also offers a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive variant with 308bhp and 475Nm, its availability in India remains to be confirmed.
The India-bound MG Cyberster has a refined suspension system with a front double wishbone and rear five-link independent setup. Its balanced 50:50 weight distribution further enhances its dynamic performance.
The MG Cyberster sports a 'Kammback' design, featuring a sloping roofline and a sharp truncated rear. The prominent design elements include a low, distinctive nose, sharp LED headlights with DRLs, a contoured bonnet, a split air intake at the front, arrow-shaped taillamps, and diamond-cut alloy and powered scissor doors. MG's first electric sportscar will be available through the brand’s new retail channel, MG Select, by JSW MG Motor India.
Skoda Kodiaq
After making its global debut last year, the updated Skoda Kodiaq is set to mark its first appearance in India at the eagerly awaited auto show. The new Kodiaq will likely continue offering the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering 87bhp and 320Nm, paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (4X4). On the international stage, the SUV however, is available with multiple powertrain choices, including a plug-in hybrid variant. This hybrid combines a 1.5-litre TSI engine with an electric motor, boasting an all-electric range of over 100 kilometres.

Cosmetically, the facelifted Skoda Kodiaq will sport a sharper and more refined appearance. The signature butterfly grille with vertical slats will remain intact, as seen in the previous spy shots. However, it will be complemented by a unique split-headlamp setup, with larger primary units and LED DRLs. Other notable updates include redesigned alloy wheels, a revamped bumper, C-shaped wraparound LED taillights, a slimmer air dam, and a front-mounted radar sensor.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The first-ever EV from Maruti Suzuki, the e Vitara, will mark its debut at the upcoming Auto Expo. Like its global counterpart, the e Vitara is likely to have two battery options: a 49kWh (FWD) and a 61kWh (FWD/AWD), and a range of up to 600 kilometres on a single charge. It will be based on the Heartect-e platform in collaboration with Toyota.
The EV will likely feature sharp headlights with distinctive Y-shaped LED light signatures. It will also sport bold, squared-off wheel arches, rugged body cladding, sculpted rear haunches, and a sleek, sloping roofline, 19-inch blacked-out alloy wheels, rear door handles mounted on the C-pillar, and linked LED taillights with three-piece design.
BYD Sealion 7
The BYD Sealion 7 is set to make its debut at this year's Expo ahead of its launch in H1 2025. Built on BYD’s advanced e-Platform 3.0 Evo and Blade battery technology, the Sealion 7 offers two battery options (82.5 kWh and 91.3 kWh) with the choice of rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. With a range of up to 502 kilometres, it promises both performance and efficiency for the modern driver.
The BYD Sealion gets a dynamic and aerodynamic design characterised by smooth, flowing lines and a signature ‘Ocean X’ front fascia. The BYD car comes with a low-profile hood, sleek LED headlights with integrated DRLs, and a blanked-off grille. Its coupe-inspired roofline gracefully tapers towards the rear, while 20-inch alloys make way for a stylish profile. Other key designs include body-colored ORVMs, flush-mounted door handles, rugged black cladding (accentuating the wheel arches), and connected LED taillights with a pixelated design.
Hyundai Creta Electric
Hyundai will reveal pricing for the Creta EV on January 17 at the second edition of the Bharat Mobility Expo. This all-electric SUV will offer two battery variants: a 42kWh with a range of 390 kilometers and a larger 51.4kWh battery with 473 kilometres of range. The 42kWh model is equipped with a 133bhp front-mounted electric motor, while the 51.4kWh version steps up the performance with a 167bhp motor—surpassing the Creta N Line's 158bhp output. The long-range model boasts a 0-100km/h acceleration time of just 7.9 seconds.

In terms of design, the electric Creta mirrors its ICE counterpart but introduces unique touches, including an EV-specific pixelated-pattern grille and a front bumper with active air flaps, enhancing both aerodynamics and cooling efficiency. The charging port is seamlessly integrated into the grille, with the Hyundai emblem marking the spot. A striking blacked-out roof, pillars, and ORVMs give the Creta EV a sporty and sleek profile. The SUV rides on aerodynamically designed 17-inch alloy wheels and comes in 8 single-tone colours, including 5 metallic and 3 matte finishes.
