Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Tata Motors has unveiled the Sierra in its ICE version for the first time at the Auto Expo 2025 in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The production-ready model draws inspiration from the original 1990s Sierra SUV but features modern design updates that align it with contemporary SUV styling. It features a striking front design with an upright stance, highlighted by an LED light bar, a familiar Tata grille, and sharp headlights. The black and silver front bumper adds a touch of sportiness. On the sides, the original rectangular side window makes a stylish return, alongside flush door handles and bold dual-tone alloy wheels.

The rear has sleek taillamps joined by an LED light strip. It includes a sturdy piano black bumper with a silver faux skid plate, emphasizing the SUV's rugged, and modern appeal.
Tata Sierra: Interior and Features
The model boasts a dual-tone interior highlighting a harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and design elements borrowed from the Harrier and Safari. It includes a sophisticated dual-screen setup with a fully digital driver’s display and infotainment system and a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated ‘Tata’ logo in the middle. Features-wise, the SUV is expected to have a wireless phone charger, a high-quality sound system, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Tata Sierra: Engine
The Sierra SUV is likely to come with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (166bhp/280Nm). Tata could also offer a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 166bhp and 350Nm and is also found in the Harrier and the Safari.
Transmission choices for the Tata Sierra may include a 6-speed manual and an automatic unit.
Tata Sierra: Expected Price
Upon its launch, the Sierra ICE will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the MG Astor, the Kia Seltos, and the Hyundai Creta. It is expected to cost somewhere around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
